The Salmon Days Festival kicks off with the Grande Parade at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 7. You can sign-up to be a participant or cheer them along the parade path. Either way, be sure to mark your calendar for the parade.
From there, you can stroll along the downtown streets to browse over 200 beautiful and unique arts & crafts booths and enjoy the wide range of food vendors. There is also a family-oriented Field of Fun that includes activities and booths geared toward children as well as the famous Dock Dogs competition.
Be sure to visit the star attraction – the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery. Located off West Sunset Way, the Issaquah Hatchery is the most visited of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife’s hatcheries. So, it is not a surprise that it is the star of the Festival. Tens of thousands of festival goers walk over the bridge and view all the salmon returning home.
