Salmon Days Festival

The Salmon Days Festival kicks off with the Grand Parade at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 5. You can sign-up to be a participant or cheer them along the parade path. Either way, be sure to mark your calendar for the parade.
From there, you can stroll along the downtown streets to browse over 200 beautiful and unique artisan booths. Hungry? Enjoy the wide range of food vendors featuring Pacific Northwest favorites as well as delicious ethnic cuisine. Check out the family-oriented Field of Fun that includes activities and booths geared toward children, and don’t miss the famous Dock Dogs competition.
On the far south end of the Salmon Days venue you will find Issaquah’s Jakob Two Trees, a 14ft wooden troll fashioned from recycled pallets and accessorized by an artist of the Snoqualmie Tribe. Jakob Two Trees is part of the 2023 Northwest Trolls project led by Danish artist Thomas Dambo.
Be sure to visit the star attraction – the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery. Located off West Sunset Way, the Issaquah Hatchery is the most visited of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife’s hatcheries and serves as an environmental education center 365 days a year. Thousands of festival goers walk over the Issaquah Creek bridge to view all the salmon returning home. It is an action-packed visual spectacle!
