Greenheart Yoga
Blend the healing influence of nature with the tradition of yoga in welcoming environments. Greenheart Yoga provides guided hiking experiences to introduce people to local wild spaces to explore, laugh, and breathe before sharing a yoga practice beneath the forest canopy.
The adventure starts with a slow and steady wander through some wonderful forested spaces, rich with plant life and animal visitors. You will see lots of plant friends (and taste a few depending on the season), and a pass a lovely little lake or two that are seasonal stop overs for many bird species.
Depending on the season, there are options to extend the hiking if finding moving quickly, or feeling inspired to stretch your legs. Likewise there are trails rated for ADA access! Sarah strives to make this forest bath available for all.
Expect to spend at least 90min on the hiking portion of the journey.
Eventually, you will settle in to move through a gentle, mindful yoga practice, taking advantage of the clean, fresh air while stretching your body and quieting the mind.
Other things to note:
-Host will provide small yoga ‘matlets’ to use if desired, no need to bring one.
– Rain or shine – so dress for the weather (you’d be surprised how fun it can be to get a little dirty or wet in the forest, bring an open mind and some extra clothes in the car).
-Bring hydration and snacks, footwear for walking, and maybe bug spray or sunscreen depending on the season.
