Yuletide on Front Street in Historic Downtown Issaquah
Join in for an evening of fun festive community activities, crafts and music in Historic downtown Issaquah on December 21st, 1:30pm – 7 pm.
Yuletide on Front – Make Music Day Winter Celebrates Winter Solstice – There will be both indoor and outdoor activities.
Below Performances are in or near Front Street in the Piazza ((Chicago Pastrami parking lot or No. 96 Cafe).
1:30 to 3:30 p.m. — Sounds of the seasons outside Historic Downtown Issaquah’s Creative Business Studio Space – the home of Art by Fire, Experience Tea and Kaleidoscope School of Music.
1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. — Local artist Ekta Gupta will guide aspiring artists through techniques for creating masterpieces with colored pencils. All supplies will be provided. Location: No. 96 Cafe.
3:30 to 3:50 — Lion Dance & Martial Arts Demo.
3:50 to 4 p.m. — Seasonal Tunes with Manchung Ho and students.
4 to 4:15 p.m. — Winter Wonders, with balcony serenades featuring local celebrity and business owner Troy Kline. His smooth vocals will perform the Issaquah Anthem© and joyful seasonal tunes.
Performance Below are inside the Historic Train Depot, 78 First Avenue NE
2:55 to 3:25 p.m. — The talented kids from Dance Tantra Academy will present some Invocatry Bharatanatyam numbers, such as Pushpanjali and Ganapati Kautvam. Don’t miss these passionate youth dancers dressed in gorgeous attires.
4:30 to 4:45 p.m. — The Navrang Dance Group will present Bhangra, a traditional folk dance from the northern state of Punjab.
4:45 to 5:15 p.m. — Seasonal Tunes with Manchung Ho & Students
5:15 to 5:30 p.m. — Carol of the Bells & Duets with Ellis Cellist & Students
5:30 to 5:55 p.m. — Bharatnatyam Dance by Akhilesh Vadari a versatile artist with a passion for dance and performance honored as a Silver Medal Winner at the National YoungArts. Following the performance, the audience will be invited to learn the steps and join in.
5:55 to 7:30 p.m. — Live Yuletide Music with the Rovin Fiddlers Holiday Sing Along.
