Join Seattle Young Professionals on National Get Outdoors Day, June 8th for the first hike as part of the Get Outside! event series!
Hike Coal Creek Falls Loop, a wonderful destination for any hiker looking for an easy to moderate picturesque trail with many wildflower species, a thick canopy, and a 28-foot waterfall. Located in the Cougar Mountain Regional Wildlife Park the trail is 2.5 miles roundtrip and will take approximately 1.5-2 hrs. Many trails interconnect with Coal Creek Falls Loop. Also included: Red Town Trail and Cave Hole Trail.
There is a large parking lot at the trailhead, but it’s heavily used and fills up quickly. The trailhead is equipped with two privies, garbage cans, a picnic table, historical interpretive signage, and doggie bag dispenser. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.
Anticipating the group will be working up an appetite,so if you are interested, join others to grab some food and drink after.
