Walk ’n Wag, the biggest dog party on the Eastside is back! Dogs, friends of dogs and spectators are invited to the eighth annual Walk ’n Wag at Lake Sammamish State Park, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, sponsored by Alpine Animal Hospital, Michael’s Subaru of Bellevue, and Pet Pros by Earthwise Pet.

The event kicks off with a “3k Walk in the Park” for dogs and their friends and family.

After the walk, registered dogs are invited to participate in the Banner Bank pet show. Pets will be judged on Smallest Dog, Largest Dog, Dog/Owner Look Alike, Best Trick, and Best Costume. Winners will be awarded gift baskets compliments of All the Best Pet Care and Pickles Playland.

Registration is only $20 per dog for the walk and includes choice of event swag, 3K walk, pet show entry, and two human guests (additional humans are $5 each). Register here! Registration will also be available at the event.

Attendees are invited to watch performances by Seattle FlyDogs and Rainier Agility Team, and engage with Seattle Humane Society’s cuddle station and craft activity.

The Gallagher’s beer garden opens at 11:00 with music throughout the day from Warm 106.9. Food will be available from Jones BBQ, Tasty Z’s Hot Dog and the Issaquah Ice Cream Trike.

All proceeds will benefit programs and improvement projects for Lake Sammamish State Park.
