Green Issaquah: Restoration Work Party at Park Pointe

Join the Issaquah Alps Trails Club and Green Issaquah as they continue restoration efforts at Park Pointe. You will be removing invasive species, primarily blackberry bushes, to protect the forest and clear space to plant trees. Planting more trees will help our city meet our Issaquah Climate Action Plan goal of 55% tree canopy cover by 2035.

Registration required.

Parking for Park Pointe is available along SE Evans Street, which is the overflow lot for Issaquah High School and the parking for the Sportsman Club (see inset picture map below). Click here for parking directions.

Restoration work party will be in the blue highlighted area. Yellow X marks the meeting spot.

Meet at the YELLOW X on inset picture map on the right. Click here for meetup directions.

Bring your own gloves if you have them. There will be gloves available for those who don’t have their own. Please dress in layers and in clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. Old denim is perfect to protect your skin from pricklies! Closed-toed shoes, long sleeves, and pants are recommended. Bring a full water bottle, warm drink, and snacks. Don’t forget to bring your rain gear if rain is in the forecast.
