Keep Issaquah Beautiful Day Volunteer Opportunity

Volunteers – both groups and individuals – are needed to spend a couple of hours making a difference in our community. There are jobs for all ages and abilities and flexible schedules.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own work gloves. Trash pickers & buckets are supplied.

Students can earn their community service hours.

Special attention will be on trash, scarecrows and planter maintenance, and storm drain cleaning in the historic downtown area.

Storm drain cleaning is being led by FISH (Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery) and supports a City of Issaquah Education and Outreach grant. Learn more about Adopt a Drain | Issaquah, WA – Official Website.  Volunteers cleaning storm drains will receive an orientation about the program enroute to the Salmon Hatchery where you will be paired up to clean the drains and record impact. Tools provided. The DIA and FISH volunteer waivers are required.

Bring a friend, make new friends! Make a difference and make an impact.
