Memorial Day Ceremony
Salute veterans’ sacrifices and service at Issaquah’s Memorial Day ceremony.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is hosted by the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3436. Speaking remarks will be delivered by retired Army Major Melissa Van Buhler of the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps.
The service should last about 45 minutes, and seating will be available for those who need it. Refreshments will be provided.
Interested in volunteering? Join us on May 27 to decorate headstones of veterans as well as undecorating them after the event at 6 p.m. on May 29.
