“Join or Die” is a film about why you should join a club…and why the fate of America depends on it.
Highlands Council will show a free screening of the film at Blakely Hall on Sunday, Feb. 25, as we follow the story of America’s civic unraveling through the journey of Robert Putnam. His legendary “Bowling Alone” research into American’s decline in community connections may hold the answers to our democracy’s present crisis. The film includes influential leaders and scholars as well as inspiring groups creating community in neighborhoods across the country.
