Baby Salmon Sendoff Celebration and Education Day at the Issaquah Washington Salmon Hatchery

All are invited for Earth Day and an afternoon of family fun activities, arts, crafts & writing good luck notes before the release of the juvenile salmon. Native plant garden tours, trout feeding, scavenger hunt, story stroll, artist showcase, Fishop Gift Shop, habitat restoration projects (for all ages), demonstrations, learning activities and more!

The Issaquah Salmon Hatchery is the oldest working fish hatchery in Washington state AND the only hatchery located in the heart of a historic downtown that is also an environmental science center, FREE and open to the public 365 days a year, with lots of adjacent activities, shops, restaurants and entertainment.
