Cans collected from local restaurants transformed into the outdoor Arts Sanctuary: Labyrinth of Lanterns, and was the centerpiece of a series of art events and installations celebrating art, nature, and spirit during the Fall Equinox in 2024. The experience was led by Issaquah Arts and a collaborative effort supported by the city of Issaquah, local nonprofits, and small businesses. The experience as designed to be a place to listen to the Issaquah Creek, take in the big trees, and use the labyrinth as a place to slow down and center, day or night. It was free and open to the public.
