Cougar Mountain Zoo

Learn About & Visit Cougar Mountain Zoo

The Cougar Mountain Zoo is a top-rated, non-profit organization with an award-winning mountain lion exhibit, and one of the top tiger exhibits in the country. They are dedicated to promoting the cause of the earth’s vanishing wildlife through the universal power of education.

Multiple events take place year-round, including educational lectures and behind the scenes tours. The Issaquah Reindeer Festival draws thousands of visitors to the area during December. Santa visits annually, where guests can hand feed Santa’s reindeer, sit in his sleigh, and drop a letter for him in his personal mailbox.

The resident animals at Cougar Mountain Zoo include cougars, wolves, and Bengal tigers as well as a popular exotic bird exhibit. Educational lectures are featured hourly.

The Magnani Nature Gallery is located on zoo grounds and displays nature focused and inspired art.
