Lake Sammamish State Park Shelters

The Rotunda Shelter can accommodate up to 100 people, making it ideal for moderate gatherings. There are 6 covered and 12 uncovered picnic tables, electrical outlets, and a water spigot and a central fireplace, firewood is not provided. The maximum covered capacity is 50 with the maximum area capacity of up to 100.

The Kokanee Shelter is a newly constructed facility located along Issaquah Creek in the Sunset Beach Picnic Area. This covered shelter offers 6 covered picnic tables, 2 grills, electrical outlets, and 10 uncovered picnic tables. The maximum covered capacity is 50 with the maximum area capacity of up to 200.

The Blue Heron Shelter is a newly constructed facility adjacent to the Heron Rookery playground in the Sunset Beach Picnic Area making it an ideal location for groups with children. This covered shelter offers 6 covered picnic tables, 2 grills, electrical outlets, and 10 uncovered picnic tables. The maximum covered capacity is 50 with the maximum area capacity of up to 100.
