Voluntourism: Restoration Work Party at Bernsten Park

March 18 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

You are invited to join the Issaquah Alps Trails Club and Green Issaquah in restoring this vital land along Issaquah Creek in Issaquah Washington.

We will be removing invasive plants mostly blackberry bushes, including digging out roots. We may also plant some native species.

WHAT TO BRING

Bring your own gloves if you have them. There will be gloves available for those who don’t have their own. Please dress in layers and in clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. Old denim is perfect to protect your skin from pricklies! Closed-toed shoes, long sleeves, and pants are recommended. Bring a full water bottle, warm drink, and snacks. Don’t forget to bring your rain gear if rain is in the forecast.

Across NW Juniper street from Gilman Village and Issaquah Coffee next to the Issaquah Creek.
