Avoid Crowded Trailheads – Ride the Trailhead Direct Shuttle
Trailhead Direct is provided by King County Metro, in partnership with King County Parks and Seattle Department of Transportation and sponsored by Amazon. This project seeks to ease vehicle congestion, reduce safety hazards and expand access to hiking destinations along I-90. The Trailhead Direct service runs on designated weekends and holidays.
Locally, on weekends, you can catch the shuttle at the Issaquah Transit Center every 30 minutes between 6:54am and 6:09pm to Squak Mountain State Park and the Margaret’s Way Trailhead on Squak Mountain. Last shuttle returns to the Issaquah Transit Center at 6:42pm.
