Trail Race: Tiger Peak Challenge

The name says it all — challenge! If you’re looking for a race to make your legs come alive, this is the one for you. For the longer distances (Half and 50k), our Tiger Peak Challenge will have you climbing two of Tiger Mountain’s peaks, and if that doesn’t satisfy your need for elevation, you can always run them again! You’re uphill legs will be put to the test as you tackle the Section Line trail that climbs over 1300ft in less than 1mile to the summit of West Tiger 1.

The 5-mile loop still boasts some vert, but a more sensible amount, while the course winds through the lush forests and wetlands of the Tradition Plateau.

Located near Issaquah, WA, Tiger Mountain State Forest is a 13,745-acre working forest that includes the West Tiger Mountain Natural Resources Conservation Area. Tiger Mountain offers many recreational opportunities, including hiking, mountain biking, equestrian trails, hang gliding, paragliding, and, of course, some of the best trail running in the area.

For this race, we are offering 5M, half-marathon and 50km distances.
