3rd Annual City of Issaquah Sustainability Fair
The City of Issaquah will hold the 3rd Annual Sustainability Fair on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pickering Barn. Last year, we attracted 1,000 community members to learn about sustainability resources and participate in demos, tours, electric vehicle displays, and touch-a-trucks. For 2025, we anticipate greater attendance and are planning a larger scale event to accommodate community participation.
Below is a sampling of what’s in store:
- Farmers Market Preview – shop one week early with our vendors and enjoy all the spring produce!
- E-Bike display and test rides offered by Gerks – check out your new ride and take it for a quick spin along the trail.
- Sock mending class offered by Recologyn- bring in your well-worn socks and learn how to fix them like a pro!
- Participate in the City Nature Challenge and GeoCaching Projects- get outside to learn about the local environment and climate action in Issaquah.
- Clothing swap – bring your lightly used, clean clothing and take home a new wardrobe.
- Live demos – including waste reduction and safer alternatives to hazardous cleaning products,
- Recycle your used batteries and lightbulbs – Recology will collect household batteries and fluorescent tubes and bulbs from Issaquah residents. See what is accepted here.
