Come enjoy fall running on this flat and fast 5k course in and around Lake Sammamish State Park, with about two-thirds of the route on sidewalks and paved paths and about one-third on dirt or grassy trails. 10k runners will run the 5k loop twice.

This is a great course for both runners and walkers.

Your entry helps support the Kokanee Salmon recovery work of the Three Rivers Chapter of Trout Unlimited. The Kokanee are unique to Lake Sammamish and are in danger of becoming extinct. Some of Trout Unlimited’s work includes: protecting the Kokanee’s access to spawning areas, educating fishermen to properly identify Kokanee, educating residents about environmentally-friendly lawn care, and more.

The Three Rivers Chapter was recently awarded the King County Green Globe Award for their work on recovering the Lake Samammish Kokanee!
