Ever heard the saying ‘adventure starts when your plan falls apart’? Well, we’d like to help you plan for the unexpected! Join us to master the art of self-reliance in any wilderness setting. Grounded in the philosophy of preparedness, we’ll delve into the 10 Essentials tailored to our local terrain–whether it’s the scorching desert, vast plains, or rugged alpine landscape–these skills are adaptable. Gain practical skills to navigate confidently, find shelter, sustain yourself, and overcome environmental challenges. Plus, we’ll cover emergency priorities, securing drinking water, Leave No Trace (LNT) principles, and safe fire-building techniques (where allowed).

Class occurs entirely outdoors (dress appropriately) and may require a short hike to our demonstration area. Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the start time listed above with personal snacks and water.
