Plein Air Painting Experience and Beach Clean Up at Lake Sammamish State Park
Join Nosotros En Naturaleza, the Lake Sammamish Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership, and ConceptShell for a day of painting, community, and connection with nature! 🎨🌊
We’ll kick off the morning with a relaxed open air (as weather permits) painting session led by Shayla Hufana, taking inspiration from our scenery. We’ll then take a break to enjoy a catered lunch, a chance to eat, unwind, and build community. We’ll wrap up the event with a beach clean-up, giving a little love back to the land and park that welcomed us – tools provided.
This event is open to anyone 18+, with a special welcome to our Latine and BIPOC comunidad, especially those who are new to outdoor spaces. No artistic experience is necessary to join.
Please note: participation in both the painting session and beach clean-up is required to attend this event.
All participants will need to complete two waivers — one for Nosotros En Naturaleza and one for Trout Unlimited. Waivers will be sent via text confirmation and must be completed before the event.
