Cheryl McIntosh: Finding My Joy – A Journey of Self Discovery through Photography

How do you tell a uniquely human story through photography?
Join on Saturday 21 October 2023—in-person at Blakely Hall in the Issaquah Highlands urban village or online—as Issaquah Highlands Photography Group welcomes local architectural & lifestyle photographer Cheryl McIntosh as she shares tips & techniques for creating dynamic and engaging photos, as well as the stories behind her most memorable photos and her journey from enthusiast to professional photographer.

Free to attend. Open to the public.

Cheryl McIntosh began her career in branding & marketing, first where she was exposed to product photography for brands and was able to experiment with studio lighting. She later worked for an architecture firm that specialized in senior living and flew Cheryl around the country photographing Alzheimer’s and dementia care facilities. It was here that Cheryl developed a passion for showing how people interact with their built environment and telling the story of buildings through photography. Cheryl’s work includes a broad range of landscapes, lifestyle, portraiture, events and her specialty–architecture. Cheryl currently works as a part time marketer for Rhodes Architecture + Light, and part time photographer for her company, Quanta Collectiv.
