Salute veterans’ sacrifices and service at Issaquah’s Memorial Day ceremony.

The event, which is free and open to the public, is hosted by the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3436. Speaking remarks will be delivered by Mayor Mark Mullet.

The service should last about 45 minutes, and seating will be available for those who need it. Refreshments will be provided.

Interested in volunteering? Join other community members on May 23 at 9 a.m. to decorate headstones of veterans at Lower Hillside Cemetery (555 W Sunset Way), as well as undecorating them at 6 p.m. on May 25.
