Explore the world of green teas from China, Japan and Korea. In this class we begin with tasting three grades of Japanese Matcha and exploring the taste as well as use for each grade. Matcha is actually a ground tea leaf so you drink the whole leaf versus steeping the leaves and discarding. We’ll then move on to taste five leaf-style teas—all with very different styles. You’ll learn the process that keeps green tea…well, green! We taste up to eight teas in this class.
