Literary Night in Issaquah Washington’s Historic Downtown Creative District

Join us at this Literary Nights event for an intimate evening of stories and poetry. From the 1920s suffragettes to Betty Friedan’s 1963 classic The Feminine Mystique to Riotgirls in the 1990s and #MeToo in 2006, feminist theory has been coming in waves. How is the feminine calling us to serve this moment, to offer the power of our intuition through perspectives and stories?

What Makes Our Open Mic Nights Special?
The salon experience.
Our open mic nights foster egalitarianism, encouraging participants of all experience levels to share their work in a constructively critical environment.

Meet experienced writers, creative talents, and respected veterans who are passionate about developing literary skills.

Inspired by the 17th-century French salons, our gatherings are a hub for free-spirited discussions and creative stimulation. They offer a space where people across different social hierarchies can mingle and express radical, progressive ideas without judgment.
