Free Lecture: Let’s Talk Local History with the Issaquah History Museum
The remote “Squak Valley” and its few hundred migrant miners, loggers, farmers and their families who had joined the indigenous peoples in calling this place home was on the cusp of an economic and cultural boom that arrived with the train in 1889 and statehood in 1892.
