2026-2027 Season Premiere of the Issaquah Philharmonic Orchestra
The first concert of the season for the orchestra is always exciting. It’s the first time the new ensemble (every year we have new players become part of the orchestra), which is always an exhilarating experience. The orchestra also features the Middle School Honor Orchestra as an “opening act.”
Music for Season Premiere is selected from some of the greatest standards from the orchestral repertoire as well as the possibility of more recent pieces, always playing the original work, whenever it is available. This means the orchestra is performing professional level music by the end of the second month of school.
