Children will learn how to create their very own nature-inspired diorama using natural materials, crafting tools, and adorable scene elements from Heidi Huckleberry. With our guidance, kids will be inspired to tap into their full creativity and boundless imagination, transforming an empty cardboard box into a miniature camping scene they’ll be proud to take home.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own natural finds from home, a hike, or their yard–such as unique pebbles, dried flowers, or short twigs–to combine with the scene elements and incorporate into their creation.

The goal is to foster open sensory play with nature, spark creative storytelling, cultivate an outdoorsy mindset, and promote mindful use of resources. The crafting session is tailored for children ages 5 to 11, though guardians are welcome to assist younger crafters. All necessary tools and materials will be provided; please note that we will be working with child-friendly paints and glue.
