Hedda Gabler, set in 1890s Norway, follows former aristocrat and newly married Hedda as she and her husband return to their villa from their honeymoon abroad. Immediately disdaining her new role as homemaker, Hedda struggles with her sense of self, and ultimately sets herself and those around her on a course of destruction. A classic and timely study on gender inequality, repression, human nature, and artistic stagnation, this show is not one to be missed.
