Book a Hatchery Summer Tour

Spend part of your summer discovering one of Issaquah’s hidden treasures! Book a Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, 45-minute guided tour offered daily at 10:00 am & 1:00 pm. Learn how salmon are raised, why they’re vital to the Pacific Northwest, and the incredible 42-mile journey they make from Issaquah Creek to the Pacific Ocean and back. Along the way, you’ll explore the hatchery, see Chinook & Coho salmon, and hear fascinating stories about local wildlife and conservation.

The tour is fun for all ages and includes the chance to feed our rainbow trout, visit interactive exhibits, and browse the FISH Outreach Center and Gift Shop. Whether you’re a local resident, visiting with family, or looking for an educational summer activity, the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery offers a memorable outdoor experience in the heart of downtown Issaquah. We look forward to sharing the amazing story of salmon with you!
