Fresh Perspectives Art Exhibition at Issaquah’s Historic Gilman Town Hall
You are invited to step inside Gilman Town Hall and view original art by three student semi-finalists, each interpreting the experiences of the Chinese migrant workers who came to Squak Valley in 1885 only to be met with violence. Your feedback will help shape which artist is chosen to create the first piece for our Fresh Perspectives exhibit, part of Issaquah’s upcoming America250 celebration.
Come see the art, share your thoughts, and help decide how this pivotal story will be told.
