Join Alex Machetanz, an active member of IATC’s Advocacy Committee, for an educational hike along Dwight’s Way Trail on Tiger Mountain.

This often overlooked trail, located between Issaquah and Preston, will take us close to a parcel of land on West Tiger Mountain that has been proposed for the Trust Land Transfer (TLT) program. We will have the opportunity to talk about TLT and other mechanisms local governments can employ to protect public lands.

The hike will take us through forested areas and also down a local access road. This is a moderate hike taken at a conversational pace, so make sure to bring yourself plenty of water, some snacks, and shoes you can get muddy!
