How big is the Ruth Kees Big Tree? If you’ve seen it before you know that it is really big. How tall? That’s tough to say. What’s the diameter? That’s a question we can address. Come along on this hike on the north side of the Lake Tradition Plateau where we will measure the big tree’s circumference and calculate its diameter. Along the way, we will select other larger trees in the area and add their measurements to the database.
