Free Community Movement Workshop by Kinesis Project Dance Theatre from New York City
Create a community dance with Kinesis Project featuring their iconic 110-foot orange dress. No experience needed!
Take the morning to move, dance and create a live experience with Kinesis Project dance theatre—one of our favorite large-scale outdoor dance companies! You will be guided by Melissa Riker, Artistic Director, and the company dancers to create a group movement piece centered around the company’s signature orange 110ft dress! Participants will create movement from prompts, share with one another, and invent a unique dance crafted by the community for the community! This is a stellar opportunity to be creative, have fun, and make a big splash in the festival! No dance experience necessary – bring your bravery and whatever you need to get moving. All are welcome!
