Field of Dreams Movie Night at the Issaquah Public Library
“Build it and they will come.” Relive the nostalgia of one of the most iconic baseball movies ever made at the Issaquah Library.
“Iowa farmer Ray Kinsella is inspired by a voice he can’t ignore to pursue a dream he can hardly believe. Supported by his wife, Ray begins the quest by turning his ordinary cornfield into a place where dreams can come true.” Starring: Kevin Costner, James Earl Jones and Ray Liotta –1989
And just in time! The following day the Major League Baseball Commission is televising its Field of Dreams Game after a three year hiatus, but now it’s the Philadelphia Phillies and the Minnesota Twins donning their vintage uniforms and getting the once-in-a-lifetime chance to walk out of the iconic cornfields where the Field of Dreams movie was filmed.
Movie viewing starts promptly at 4:30 pm in the Issaquah Meeting Room.
