Confluence Music Festival

The Downtown Issaquah Association (DIA), in collaboration with the Washington Blues Society, announces the return of the Confluence Music Festival on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the scenic Confluence Park—the very spot where Issaquah Creek and East Fork Issaquah Creek meet.

“’Confluence’ means the junction of two rivers and the act of merging—and that’s exactly what this festival is all about,” said DIA President Christina Bruning. “Just as the creeks join in a harmonious flow, musicians, artists, and the community will come together for an unforgettable afternoon celebrating creativity in all its forms.”

Set against the park’s lush backdrop, attendees will enjoy a vibrant mix of live music from regional and local performers, interactive art installations, and artisan booths. This free, family-friendly event will invite guests to wander, listen, watch, and participate, creating a tapestry of shared experiences that reflect Issaquah’s spirit as a Creative District.

DIA will display the “Strings of Change” project, which engaged local artists of all disciplines in a unique community art initiative to revamp violins and cellos silenced by the bomb cyclone. The artists transformed the instruments into powerful pieces of visual art, and they will be prominently showcased during the festival. A plein air contest will also take place during the event, engaging artists in depicting the beauty of the festival’s surroundings.

Locals and visitors from the Pacific Northwest will bring their families, picnic blankets, and lawn chairs to celebrate the summer festival. Live music, food trucks, beer & wine garden for those 21+, and artisans round out the legendary musical talent.
