Master Chorus Eastside performs Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, Susa’s Carols, and Lullibies, at Faith United Methodist Church on Sunday, December 3 in Issaquah Washington.

Brittens much-loved A Ceremony of Carols has long been an audience favorite.  Its based on medieval carols and was originally written for treble choir.  Master Chorus Eastside is doing the SATB version so that all our singers can enjoy this treasured work.

Susas Carols and Lullabies, written to be a companion piece to Brittens work, is less well known but equally lovely.  Set within a southwestern landscape, it weaves an array of Spanish-language carols about the Nativity into a vivid narrative.
