Art Show at the Historic Shell Station in Downtown Issaquah’s Creative District

The three featured artists—Ted Cyrek, Priya Mutha, and Ekta Gupta—will be present at the exhibit at various times throughout the show’s run. Visitors are encouraged to stop by for a chance to meet the artists, hear about their process, and experience the stories behind the work firsthand.

From thought-provoking paintings and intricate handmade crafts to nature-inspired visual art, this show celebrates a broad spectrum of talent and storytelling through visual mediums.

Ted Cyrek captures the world around him—both real and imagined—through his paintings. “I paint things I see,” Cyrek says. “I like to capture places and moments that speak to me. It is in these moments we can see a story unfolding. And there is always a new story to tell.”

Priya Mutha, a software engineer by profession and a craftsperson at heart, builds with both code and her hands. “Whether it’s a line of code or a line of thread, I love the process of bringing things to life,” she explains. With a lifelong exposure to crafts, Priya has transformed a personal passion into a professional endeavor, creating handmade works that blend creativity with precision.

Ekta Gupta is a pharmacist by education, educator by profession, and artist by passion. Nature’s beauty, intricate textures, and captivating patterns heavily influence her artistic style, evident in her eclectic colored pencil creations. Her artwork has been published in multiple magazines, and she has played active roles in art curation, fashion shows, and cultural events both locally and internationally. “Art allows me to slow down and notice the details—the rhythm in nature, the harmony in color, the quiet stories hidden in texture,” Gupta reflects. “Through my work, I aim to bring those small wonders to life.”
