Trees of Memory Future, a Textile Pop Up Art Exhibition

Over the past year I’ve been working on a 12-panel textile installation work called Trees of Memory Future…and the completed work will be exhibited for the first time at the Historic Shell Station in downtown Issaquah.” Janice King, Textile Artist and Author

This artwork takes a unique look at the impact of climate change on Pacific Northwest native trees, as well as potential solutions. The relatable imagery and a walk-through experience of the artwork will engage adults and children alike.

You can say hello to Janice and view the exhibit during these open hours:

Fridays 4/18 and 4/25: 4:00 PM-7:00 PM
Saturdays 4/19 and 4/26: 11:00 AM-3:00 PM
Sundays 4/20 and 4/27: 1:00 PM-4:00 PM

The Historic Shell Station is at 232 Front St. N. in downtown Issaquah, in the heart of the Creative District.

Thanks to the Downtown Issaquah Association for hosting the exhibit, and to Centrum, Issaquah Arts, and Our Savior Lutheran Church for residencies that gave me the space to create this work,” says Janice.
